The children at Talita Cumi create beautiful hand-painted scarves, fabrics, jewelry, and framed artwork.  Each scarf or piece of art is washable, and most have designs based on a Bible verse. Small scarves are generally 12 inches x 46 inches: the shawl size is 21" x 60".

Having the children paint gives them a chance to express themselves creatively, which can be therapeutic. Although the Bible verses on the scarves are generally for the buyer's benefit, spending time painting a scarf or piece of art with a specific scripture reference can often be meaningful for the children who worked on that piece... so this little art project is really a blessing to all involved!

If you would like to make a donation and receive a scarf, simply send us an email with your name and address, and we will place your order. You will receive your scarf, postage paid, in approximately six weeks. Donations for scarves can be made the same way as all Talita Cumi donations, allowing your donation to be tax deductible.
